Body found in Charlotte park

A body has been found in Ramblewood Park on Nations Ford Road, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said Sunday.

“We are conducting a death investigation,” Captain Dickson Skipper said. Skipper would not release any details about the investigation.

Police shut down the park and patrol cars blocked the entrance as the investigation continued. A soccer tournament that was scheduled to take place in the park has been canceled.
