Man shot in head at apartment
A man was shot in the head at an east Charlotte apartment Sunday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.

Terrance Edwin Lavar Willis, 30, was in critical condition at Carolinas Medical Center Sunday evening.

Officers found him on the steps of an apartment on Eastcrest Drive, near Central Avenue and Briar Creek Road. Homicide detectives are investigating the 4 a.m. shooting, but had not made an arrest by late Sunday or released a suspect description.
